One to One Teaching Assistant Urgently Required

One to One Teaching Assistant Urgently Required!GSL Education wish to appoint three enthusiastic, motivated teaching assistants to provide support in the classroom. The successful candidate must be willing to build constructive, supportive relationships with pupils and teachers. The successful candidate will be providing 1:1 support to an individual child, however the successful candidates will also support the class teacher in a general classroom TA role for periods of the school day.The successful candidate will be:

• Have a desire to make a difference to children's lives
• Be aware of behavior strategies and be confident in implementing them
• Follow individual Education/Behaviour plans
• Support and cater for the needs of each individual child

Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered).Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours, this role will continue until August 2023.The school require on and off support throughout the year depending on student intake and staffing needs, so there is always opportunity for contract extension and permanent roles for staff who are a great asset to the school.If this opportunity sounds like something that you would really excel in, or if you want to hear about other Teaching Assistant vacancies, please send over your up to date CV.
