As a SharePoint Developer (Wealth Management) you will join the development team to help the client build out specialist portals and applications within SharePoint for departments such as Investment- Management. This role will involve working with closely with senior stakeholders and technical teams. A proven track record delivering SharePoint development solutions using C# and .Net will be required.

My client is a wealth management and professional services company operating in the Financial Services industry with offices in London.

Description

My London based financial services client is looking for a SharePoint Developer (Wealth Management) to engage in the following:
  • Build out new sites and portals on SharePoint
  • Work closely with departments and department heads to ensure complex requirements and data heavy components are performant and accurate
  • Help establish a best in practice approach to SharePoint development within the company
  • Ensure that quality and reliability are built into any work and that the necessary software development governance is adhered to
  • Work with third party software and data providers

Profile

To be considered for the SharePoint Developer (Wealth Management) role at my financial services client's site in London, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience of working within a development team and scrum environment
  • Extensive SharePoint development experience in 2016 and SharePoint Online
  • Extensive experience with technical design and technical architecture - understanding the technical architectures of both SharePoint On-Premise and Online
  • Development experience in C#
  • Good knowledge of best practices for .NET development
  • Good knowledge of Rest services
  • Good knowledge of continuous integration - relevant systems would include TeamCity and Octopus (desirable)
  • Being able to provide estimates against organisational requirements relating to cost and development tasks
  • Experience of test-driven development would be desirable
  • Working with an organisation to deliver on their requirements - you'll need to understand clearly what your customers are using the systems for
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of JIRA and Confluence

Job Offer

9-Month Fixed Term Contract offering up to £65,000 per annum.
