This role is for Accounts Payable Clerk in their London branch. The opportunity listed is a great way to start a career in the banking industry whilst growing together with the bank.The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and financial support for Accounts Payable ensuring that payments and expenditures are monitored and processed in an efficient, and accurate manner and that suppliers and vendors are paid within established timescales. Duties include taking responsibility for the day to day processing of all purchase invoices ensuring that invoices are checked, and prices are correct and that any discrepancies are investigated and dealt with appropriately, all whilst ensuring that invoices are authorised, recorded, and entered accordingly.We are looking for candidates who are strong team players with a flexible mindset in order to deal with complex or sensitive messages, has previous experience in a similar role, good IT skills using Excel and accounting software. An accounting qualification is preferred but not essential. Professionalism, enthusiasm, organised and friendly approaches are important qualities to possess.
