• £43k - £45k + bonus

• Woking based

Syntech are searching for an Engineering Estimator for our manufacturing client based out near Woking. Working across multiple sites, you will be tasked with a varied role of estimating new work as well as developing new business for our client.

Engineering Estimator Duties

• Receive and interpret customers' requirements from CAD drawings
• Prepare detailed quotations, proposals and bids for sub-contract machining and finishing work
• Review costs and decide acceptable margins with the production team
• Lead and assist in the expansion of existing key accounts
• Assist in the development of new accounts
• Maintain an up to date sales/prospects database

This role will involve work away from site at times, including:

• Attending trade shows (UK and abroad)
• Domestic travel to other sites within our clients groups
• Potential international travel to customer sites when required

Engineering Estimator Profile

• Experience as an engineer is essential, ideally through apprenticeship / time served
• 5+ years' experience in ANY OF Engineering/Manufacturing/Estimating/Engineering Business Development
• Able to read CAD / Engineering Drawings
• Familiar with CNC Machining and its processes
