Teaching Personnel are recruiting an English teaching assistant to work at a school in the Altrincham area of Greater Manchester. The educator does not need to have a direct English experience through a qualification but must be able to show that they are competent with English, e.g. have completed a dissertation at university. The position will start in September 202, with an opportunity of this lasting up until the end of the academic year.

The school need a teaching assistant to help out pupils who have been struggling with English leading up to a busy examination period at the school. The pupils will need these English skills to improve there reading and writing ahead of a busy examination period in the summer.

The role
  • English Specialist teaching assistant needed at a school in south Manchester.
  • Pay will be £66.30 with payments being made a week in arrears.
  • Opportunity to work towards a full-time position at a school should the term be a success
  • The position will start in September 2022.

To commute to the school, there is a large public transport interchange in Altrincham which is a 5-minute walk away from the school, this has bus, train and Metrolink options. Further, the school does have a free onsite car park which is free to be used by staff members and connects to the nearby M60 motorway.
