A leading family run British Manufacturing Company located in the heart of Birmingham are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join their extremely busy Finance Team of 2.

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.30pm, "outside of the congestion zone". You will provide assistance to the busy "go to" Finance Department answering all incoming queries are responded to in an efficient and timely manner.

Scope of the Accounts Assistant
- Assisting with processing of purchase ledger invoices 200/400 per month
- Sales ledger and Credit Control duties
- Knowledge of working with HMRC - commodity codes in relation to import invoices
- Download bank statements and post to cash book
- Daily reconciliations
Prerequisites
- Previous accounts administration experience
- Manufacturing experience is preferable
- Experience of using Sage 200 and Excel on a daily basis
- High levels of attention to detail
