Technical Business Analyst - Salary up to £50k (dependant on experience)

Commutable from Birmingham (Remote working to suit you)

Can be 100% remote/ Bonus Scheme/ 25 days holiday + BH / Early finish Fridays / High Autonomy / Career Progression / Flexible working / Training and Development and much more!

'I'm looking for somewhere that I can really influence processes and contribute to the success of a company." Sound familiar? My client is looking to bring on a Technical Business Analyst to their business as the "first BA" hire due to their constant drive to improve the overall customer experience.

The company itself operated in the Energy Tech space and they have created innovative, smart green energy solutions to combat climate change and have a real focus on sustainability. What's even more exciting is that they have are targeting Net ZERO challenges for many of their applications and solutions from a personal to commercial scale - they're never afraid to branch out new products and services!

The role would require you to have a solid understanding of their customers, understanding what new features their customers might want/need all to create a slick user experience. You'd be hands on working cross-functionally in this small business to identify opportunities to consult and advise on technical decisions so it's crucial you are someone that is confident in translating between technical and non tech terms. You'd help prepare ceremonies, sprint planning, ensure that everyone understands the priorities and the team are working cohesively towards the same goal.

What you'd be doing:
  • Understanding your customers and what features they need to make their experience slicker
  • Breaking down feature ideas into themes, epics, user stories with the dev team
  • Planning sprints and ceremonies
  • Working cross functionally on tech decisions and designs
  • Understanding how customers interact with the sales products and assist with improvements alongside UX analysts

What you will need:
  • Excellent comms both internally and externally with stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of BI and CRM platforms
  • Experience with Jira (or similar)
  • Experience requirement gathering, breaking down epics into user stories and tasks with acceptance criteria
  • To be a collaborator and work closely with the team to achieve the same goal
  • Agile scrum and Kanban processes
  • Ability to work closely with the Development team

This is a real different opportunity - anyone coming into the business as the "first hire" within that department is going to be super influential, so if you want to be part of a business that you can not only contribute to combatting climate change but you can add value to the business then this is it.

They want people on board to be flexible, enjoy their work and really have a voice in the business. they are one of the fastest growing EnTech companies and they provide both a high level of infrastructure and software with a range of products, ensuring quality without compromise!

Could this be for you? Send your application right on through!
