HR and Conduct OfficerThis is a really exciting ongoing temporary role based in the City Centre. This role is for someone with a HR background with experience of the HR processes around investigations and conduct meetings. The rate of pay is £14.95ph and it is a full-time position.Main Duties
Responsible for the management of misconduct cases, ensuring a consistent approach to the assessment, investigation and imposition of sanctions

Lead investigations into allegations of misconduct cases.

To manage the workload of misconduct cases, line manage an administrator and support the Complaints and Appeals function of the team during busy periods.

Duties and responsibilities:

To lead investigations into alleged misconduct cases

Manage a caseload, including interviewing witnesses, taking statements, securing and gathering evidence & having the ability to deal with a wide range of issues.

To make informed, proportionate and appropriate decisions with regards to whether the alleged breach is proven and impose sanctions or escalate to Serious Disciplinary Panel

Participate in Serious Disciplinary Panels, presenting cases for consideration by members of the panel

Establish and maintain good relationships with the Police to facilitate the sharing of information, in line with the Information Sharing Protocol

Communicate the decisions and outcomes of investigations.

To liaise with various colleagues and external services such as police on serious misconduct breaches which have taken place.

To produce factual case reports following an investigation, highlighting evidence and arguments for escalation to Disciplinary panels

To present a monthly caseload report of investigations highlighting key issues and identifying trends.

To work with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure cases are dealt with effectively and follow processes.

To review, develop and update all inter-departmental disciplinary policies and procedures to ensure a streamlined experience for all customers.

To be responsible for management of enquiries (in person/email/phone), offering information, advice and referral to colleagues as necessary.
