Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with a 'Good' OFSTED rated secondary school in Surrey to appoint a School Finance Manager. With recent new leadership, the school has been identified as the most improved within the county and is regularly oversubscribed.
Due to the success of the school, this newly created role is to support the Director of Finance & Operations in the delivery of robust management accounts and efficient and accurate financial planning.
Working within a small finance team, you will be responsible for the following:
Producing accurate monthly management accounts using Sage, forecasts and analysis of income and costs
Complete all financial returns required by the EFSA
Working with the DFO to prepare for the new school year annual budget
Financial analysis of the schools financial performance and highlight areas to be addressed
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant or in the final stages of study, will bring a strong work ethic and understands school finance, particularly the EFSA reporting process.
This is a busy and demanding role which requires exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, a confident level of Excel knowledge and a natural customer focused approach.
In return, you will be joining a fast paced school which offers a good benefits package including a Local Government Pension Scheme.
Interviews WC 20th June 2022
