Pontypridd - Home Working

Up to £25,000 (DOE)

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a Housing Association who have an opportunity for 6 months for a Governance Assistant / Administrator to join their team working mainly on a remote basis.

As Governance Assistant you will have responsibility for the management and provision of administrative support to the governance team. You'll need to be flexible in your working hours to cover evening Board and Committee meetings.

Duties Include
  • Liaise and communicate with staff at all levels in the Firm to gather Management Information
  • Assist in the production of Management Information Reports for a portfolio of Clients
  • Use different IT and CMS systems to collate and report on Management Information
  • Maintain the contract log and produce ad hoc status reports as required. Follow up with Partners where documentation is missing and liaise with Finance to obtain the relevant financial information
  • Assist with storing contract documentation for all clients in one central location
  • Assist with the preparation and updating of client procedure booklets and storing on the firm's intranet
  • Assist with preparing information for client meetings
  • Updating data in the Practice Management System and regularly reviewing and cleansing this information
  • Attending Board and Committee Meetings and preparing minutes and action logs to issue within 7 days of the meeting for agreement by the respective chair prior to wider circulations.
  • Providing ad-hoc administration to the Client Operations Manager and Senior Executive as and when required, including setting appointments and production of reports.
  • Liaise with and develop relationships with other support teams to identify improvements to the current processes and procedures

Skills / Experience Required
  • Experience of working in an administration role
  • Experience of working in a marketing or professional services environment is preferred
  • Excellent IT skills, especially within Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general use of the Internet
  • Knowledge/experience of working with databases
  • A consistently professional and confident manner - always remaining calm under pressure to ensure the tasks are delivered on time
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with personnel at different levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively taking in to account competing deadlines
  • A self-starter
  • Committed to rigour around treating all clients fairly
  • Focused on attributing dedication, determination and loyalty to colleagues, clients and communities
  • Able to demonstrate continuous development and diversity in thinking
  • Understands and complies with Information Security responsibilities commensurate with this advertised role including Data Protection and the duty of confidentiality
