Are you a diligent humanities teacher in Hull looking for work in September?

Teaching Personnel are hiring humanities teachers and humanities graduates with experience in schools to join the National Tutoring Programme in Hull. From September schools in the Hull area require high quality dedicated tutors in History, Geography and Religious Education.

The role: Tutoring GCSE and KS3 students in groups of between 1 and 6 to make a vital difference to their education approaching exams. Sessions run in 15-week blocks with a variety of ability groups in school and remotely.

Pay: £25-£35 an hour depending on group size

Hours: This role offers flexibility for tutors to work part-full time depending on availability.

Responsibilities: Preparing concise hour-long sessions for all secondary age groups in your specialist subjects. During sessions you must be able to converse with students to identify points of weakness in students' subject knowledge and improve grades. Tutors must show strong intervention skills to assure students are engaged throughout sessions. All sessions are reported onto our online platform LEAP so schools can track students' progress.

Requirements of the role: This role is ideal for experienced humanities teachers however, there is the opportunity for hard working humanities graduates with experience in education to prosper in this role. All candidates must be able to provide the details of two professional referees and register for a child workforce DBS on the update service if they do not already possess one.
