Production Operative
£9.50 per hour
The Company:
Bury Recruitment is recruiting for a well-established UK company who specialise in the manufacture of Industrial temperature sensors and associated products and the supply of process measurement instrumentation. The company places a strong emphasis on providing the very best level of quality for all of the products they manufacture.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an individual who is either looking to start a career within the world of manufacturing or wants to use their current manufacturing skills in a new production environment. This is an entry level position that offers an excellent opportunity for long term career progression and the role includes the following aspects:
1. Electronic sub-assembly techniques of sensor elements and cables using spark & tweezer welding, soft and silver soldering, epoxying and hand / machine crimping
2. Mechanical manufacturing techniques using hand tools, tig & Plasma welding, drilling, milling and turning using lathes, pipe threading, cleaning, grinding & polishing using bench and hand power tools.
3. Machine cutting, coiling and wire preparation of sensor cables
Full on-going In-house training will be provided.
The Candidate:
The candidate must be self-motivated and the ability to follow works instructions and drawings.
The candidate must have strong communication skills, have a practical 'hands on' aptitude, can-do attitude and demonstrate a desire to succeed in a manufacturing environment.
The is a permanent full time position Mon-Fri (7:30 am start) as a 40 hr week.
