Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Murray Myers Recruitment are very pleased to be assisting a manufacturer based in B6 - Witton with the recruitment of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer This is offered on a Days basis - Start and Finish - Mon-Thurs 07:15 till 4:30, Fri-07:15 till 12:30

Salary - £30-35K depending on experience

Your role will be to enhance the reliability of manufacturing equipment and optimise performance of all plant and equipment across the manufacturing site.

Key Duties • Installation, maintenance, testing and repairing of manufacturing equipment • Fault Finding and problem solving on electrical control circuits • Assist in the PPM systems and scheduling maintenance systems • Maintain electrical equipment, wiring, motors, switches in good repair and operating conditions • Develop, Identify, Improve and review risk assessments within the engineering department • Supervise and control subcontractors on site • Regular checks and maintenance of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems

Skills Required • PLC Literate and able to read Ladder Diagrams • Ability to read circuit diagrams • Experience of electrical installations • Read Electrical Drawings
