Credit Controller required for my client based in Birmingham. This is an exciting role for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well establish and successful organisation.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining a ledger, ensuring all payments are made within payment terms.This is a full time office based permanent Credit Controller vacancy, paying £26,000 per annum.The main duties and responsibilities are:
  • Efficiently manage a ledger of 450 accounts.
  • Successfully receive payments for outstanding invoices.
  • Conduct credit checks for new businesses.
  • Email and post out invoices to customers.
  • Take payments over the phone.
  • Contact businesses to collect payments.
  • Arranging repayment plans for aged debt.
  • Allocate cash to customer invoices and reconcile accounts.
Person specification:
  • Experience working as a Credit Controller.
  • Confident speaking to customers over the phone.
  • Computer literate, confident using MS Office, Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Happy to work in the office environment.
  • Self-motivated and resilient.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
