MIG/TIG Welders Required

Welder Fabricator required for our client based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Specialising in all types of bespoke metal fabrications from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, through to more complex materials such as brass, copper and zinc. Supplying several different sectors and industries you can be working on projects for the rail sector, food and hygeine sector, or more private projects.

Hour & Shift Pattern

You will be required to work a 5 day working week pattern consisting of Monday to Thursday starting at 07:30 working till 17:00 and then 07:30 till 14:30 on Fridays. This is an ongoing position as well with the view of a temp to perm in the future.

Requirements

While on the contract your main duties will be to complete the welds that are needed as per the specifications, therefore previous welding experience is required. The work will be completed using both MIG and TIG welding styles, completed on a combi machine they are happy if you have more experience in one than the other.

Alongside this you will be required to prep the welds including but not limited to; Grinding, smoothing, and cutting. All to get the best weld possible for the customer.

Other general warehouse work may be required as and when it is beneficial to the smooth running of the organisation.
