LHH are working with a financial service company based in Crawley looking for an Interim FP&A Analyst. the details and job description are highlighted below.

Interim FP&A Analyst
  • £400 - £450 a day (Inside IR35/Umbrella)
  • 6 months minimum
  • Temp to perm option
  • Hybrid working - 1/2 days in office
  • Needed as business is growing
  • Crawley location

Main purpose of the role:

In recent years, the company has embarked on an ambitious and exciting growth strategy which has led to a significant transformation of the business. You will provide insight and challenge to ensure business leaders develop, agree, and deliver on these ambitious, strategically aligned and financially disciplined plans.

FP&A plays a key business advisory role supporting decision making at a senior level, highlighting key financial issues and risks to be considered. FP&A's responsibilities are the financial support for the strategic plan; run future financial projections; budgeting, forecasting, reporting and control of the P&L; cash flow and capital adequacy management; scenario analysis and risk management support; and project reporting and investment appraisal.

Key elements of this role
  • Provide finance modelling capability to enhance governance and provide insight into business financial models
  • Manage and enhance the Workforce plan
  • Review and develop management information for FP&A as required

Skills and Experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Strong modelling and analytic skills
  • PowerBi experience
  • Working at Executive level, and preferably experience at Board level in terms of report writing and presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised and able to lead a team and organise the teams' workload
  • Proactive and positive change agent
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to think independently and draw conclusions
  • A team player who can work with stakeholders in other functions to achieve objectives
