A growing financial employer requires an IT Application Support Team Lead for a hands-on technical role, which also involves leading a small team of Application Support Analysts.
Responsibilities include:
  • Strong leadership skills- previous experience of managing a team
  • Hands-on Application Support issue resolution alongside team lead responsibilities for a small team of analysts
  • Day to day team management and work allocation, taking into account business priorities and available capacity
  • Ensure team capability for first-line support across all supported applications and manage second line support
  • Skilled and experienced in estimating and maintaining a support rota (including out of hours) and schedule of support and improvement work for the team
  • Track incident and problem levels and maintain, promote and report on a plan for application improvements
  • Conduct post-incident problem analysis and carry out development to remove repeat problems

Required skills include:
  • Strong leadership skills- previous experience of managing a team
  • Experience on multiple applications and packages
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise
  • applications
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
