Location: Remote

Salary: £75,000 to £80,000

Here at 83zero we are partnered with a really exciting start-up within the e-learning space. Our client have hit the ground running and are in track to be one of the leaders in their field, they are currently supporting over 15,000 clients monthly world wide.

Due to all their success, they have an exciting opportunity to expand their team within the UK. They are looking to hire a Lead UX Engineer to drive the continuous improvement of their user experience implementation and scalability of their applications.

  • Work with senior members of the team on the UX roadmap to determine viability.
  • Ensure optimal monitoring, reliability, and observably of their critical user journeys
  • Coach, mentor, and train product-aligned Scrum teams in owning and supporting their front-end applications in production
  • Drive the technical road-map for continuously improving our front end application architecture, component design system, and implementation best practises
  • Collaborate with other technical leaders in evaluating the suitability of technologies, their use, and how they can best use them within our platform to ensure technical excellence

Technical Keys Skills & Experience Required:
  • Single page application development - React, CSS/UI frameworks, testing, etc.
  • Front end architecture, patterns, and best practise contract-first design, async design, etc.
  • User Experience fundamentals and theory - user journey composition, design principles, etc.
  • Monitoring tools - real user monitoring (RUM), event logging, heatmaps, etc.
  • Component libraries/design systems - Storybook, Figma, etc.

Soft Skills:
  • Enthusiastic about your technical domain in keeping up to date with the latest technology and sharing knowledge with the team
  • A strong leader with a great team work ethic, sharing knowledge with the team
  • Strong communicators and collaborators
  • Possess a clear sense of ownership and desire to see the team grow and learn
  • Flexible Working
