Our Specialist SEN Branch at Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, flexible, and reliable additional learning needs support assistant, to support the Special Needs Service in Bridgend. We have a number of long term placements until the end of the academic year and into the next.

The Successful 121 Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience of or an interest in working with ALN pupils.
The ability to work closely with other staff members and other external agencies including the Special Needs Service and other professionals.
A good understanding of Additional Learning Needs either through a professional or personal capacity.
**Ideal candidates will have experience supporting children or adults with additional needs - this does not have to be in the education sector but those with personal experience with additional and from care backgrounds will be considered for the position too**

Prior to post allocation, each applicant will be asked to provide:

Copies of qualifications relevant to the post
Education Workforce Council Registration
Enhanced DBS Certificate
Right to Work documentation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
