Are you a graduate looking for a new career within the education sector?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a large client school in the Whalley Range Area, they are on the look for a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate would encourage learning and join their KS1 team on a full time basis. The role would start in September and have the potential to run to the end of the academic year.

This role would be working in a Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school. This would be suited to an exceptional maths or English graduate as the school are seeking improvement in these areas. This candidate would be able to provide additional support to the children requiring, assist the teacher in day to day running of the classroom and coordinate small group activities focusing on specific areas. A lot of these small group activities would be with lower achieving pupils and would focus on the use of phonics. Previous experience in Jolly phonics or Letters and sounds would be essential for this role.

A successful Teaching assistant for this role would have:

A degree or Level 3 Qualification in the relevant area.
Previous experience working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
