Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a vibrant, energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our Welsh Medium Primary Schools in the Newport area for the next academic year.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Start date: 1st September 2022
Contract type: 1 year temporary contract with the possibility of going permanent for the right applicant
Pay: £10.77 per hour inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay
Trial: A trial will be held prior to starting the role.
The school are looking to recruit a full time Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting pupils/adults on a 1-1 basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work outside the classroom providing intervention to individual pupils and groups of pupils within the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 (7-11 year old).
As the school is a Welsh Medium School, delivering and supporting the intervention lessons through the medium of welsh is essential for this post.
