Procurement Analyst required for leading international business to analyse material markets and their impacts, reporting on actual product and supplier financial impact. In this role you will be maintaining indirect contracts, consolidating the best fits and issuing Invitation to Tender (ITT) to suppliers as required. The successful candidate will be highly numerate with advanced Excel skills and have at least two years previous procurement experience. Once fully trained there will be an opportunity to work from home one day per week.

Responsibilities and duties:

Reporting out the impact of Commodity changes
Board report preparation
Supporting the supplier compliance program
Maintaining the supplier contracts data base
Seek new suppliers (Direct & Indirect) ready for evaluation
ERP Key user
Control of the sample approval program
Monitor and report on supplier performance
Periodic review of Indirect purchasing including energy, communications, company leases, Travel, etc
Facility inventory coordinator

Other responsibilities and duties:

Collating and presenting PPV
Collating the department KPI's
Other Projects and tasks as required

Key Skills, qualifications and Experience

Numerate with a high degree of computer literacy, with advanced Excel & Power BI
Working to agreed KPI's
Competent in Visio. (Not essential)
Degree Educated (Engineering) - desirable.
Commercial awareness
Strong analytical & communication skills
Strong ERP knowledge (SAP By Design, desirable)
Driven for team success
Experience of working with Low cost countries, desirable
Engineering Manufacturing Environment
At least 2 years' experience in a procurement environment
