Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking to secure a permanent September role?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools based in Gillingham this September on a full-time permanent basis. You will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils within the school and be able to teach either French, Spanish, or German to GCSE level. The ability to teach more than one of these languages is highly desirable.

The incoming MFL teacher should focus on developing the breadth and depth of pupil's competence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The MFL Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.

Requirements for this role:

UK teacher qualification with qualified teacher status
Relevant languages degree
Behaviour and classroom management skills
Shares best practice and consistently strives for excellence from their students
Child only DBS on the update service or happy to complete one
As this is a full time teaching role, it is essential that the applicant is able to:

Understand the common difficulties associated with learning a language, and be able to think of solutions quickly and efficiently
Efficiently deliver school curriculum and be able to offer alternative provision whenever necessary
Work with students on both an individual and group basis
Implement unique strategies specifically designed to ensure that students are able to engage with the learning process
Encourage pupils to achieve to the best of their ability
Prepare and plan for lessons with marking required
Ensure your students achieve the best they can!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
