Do you have some experience supporting children with SEN?

We are looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Needs, SEN, at a Special Needs primary school in Sittingbourne.

• Primary SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEN in small groups or 1:1.
• Start September 2022 on a full time basis until July 2023.
• Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
• Pay up to £75/day depending on experience & qualification.
• Special Needs primary school for pupils with Autism & other Complex Needs.
• The school is rated outstanding by Ofsted.
• Pupils aged 4-11 & placed by needs & levels.
• It has a well organised & supportive management with an inclusive & welcoming atmosphere.
• They are very child centred and have their pupils needs & progress at top of mind.
• There is a fun, dynamic, collaborative and creative work ethic among the staff.
• Amazing facilities that enhance their ability to meet their pupils needs.
• Long term staff have access to training opportunities.
• Ideally you will have some prior experience supporting children with special needs in some form.

To join us and be successful in this Primary SEN Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
• Have experience supporting children or young adults in some capacity.
• Have an enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be happy to apply for a new one), Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
• Provide a CV with at least 6 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
