Do you have a background in Support Work? Have you ever considered a role to help younger children in a school setting?
Tradewind are currently seeking for a motivated and driven individual to help support a young girl with severe ASD and ADHD. The role would be a 1:1 role and supporting the pupil through the daily lesson plans and helping them maintain engagement within the lessons and supporting with the class work.
The working hours would be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm, you won't be required to commit to any personal care however we are expecting the candidate to help support the pupil with there emotions, so a kind and calm approach is needed.
The role is based in a lovely school in Chester and is due to start on 13th June.
Roles and Responsibilities -
Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis and in small groups if needed.
Following the lesson plans and ensuring pupils are engaged within the lesson.
Providing feedback to the class teacher on individuals development.
Showing genuine empathy and support to pupils.
SEND experience is required.
To be considered from his role, we will need -
Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
A CV that covers 10 years of Education or Employment.
A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the coast of the DBS)
Ideally experience working and supporting young children.
