What you'll be doing

As a/an Trainee Buyer, you will have the following accountabilities:

* To work within the Procurement team as an apprentice with a view to developing a skillset in order to further a career in Procurement

* Developing procurement skills in line with all group procedures as documented within the BMS and assisting in the delivery of the teams strategic objectives

* Procurement of material and product knowledge

* Supply Chain Management

* Category methodology

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

* Stakeholder management skills

* Supply chain knowledge (group agreements and products)

* Negotiation and influencing

* Analytical skills using Office 365 resources

* Knowledge of commercial processes

* The ability to adopt a pragmatic, yet disciplined approach to process compliance
