Are you a Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager from the Rail or Highways Sectors?

Would you like to join one of the world's most prestigious Infrastructure-based Consultancies in the UK?

The Civils & Infrastructure Division of Ford & Stanley are looking for Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers to support our client's continuing growth and make a difference to their business and to UK Infrastructure.

You will be assisting in the growth of their fastest-growing division, working on major rail projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a 'reputation-focused' business that is fast becoming recognised as a 'Safe pair of hands' within the Rail sector. It is the perfect organisation for candidates that are looking to grow, learn, and progress their career further, whilst working on an interesting array of projects. They are looking to double the size of their Rail-based business unit, and they believe the key to them achieving that is by focusing on investing in the development of their employees.

£45-56,(Apply online only) per annum (DOE)

Role and Responsibilities:

Building strong relationships with the likes of clients and stakeholders involved in each projects and programmes we support.
Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
Ensure clear project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensure that all applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
Manage contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
Proactively providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:

Degree Qualified in a relevant subject area, such as Quantity Surveying.
Demonstrable experience in complex stakeholder management.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
Hold professional accreditations such as RICS. (Desirable)
Previous rail sector experience (Desirable)
