An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Consultant to join the dynamic Glasgow office of a world-leading, multidisciplinary consultancy. The team can proudly say that their projects make a real-world difference, delivering innovative sustainable solutions across renewables, recycling, education, defence, industrial and commercial. This role offers the opportunity to manage and deliver planning and environmental inputs into a variety of projects for a wide client base, including projects to be consented under the Planning Act 2008 in low carbon and hydrogen energy generation and transmission, minerals, waste and transport. The role represents a wonderful chance to develop your career and contribute to the growth of an already impressive team.

In order to be considered for this Senior Consultant role, you will:

Have a degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or relevant environmental discipline.
Have membership of the RTPI (or other relevant organisation such as IEMA).
Have more than 5 years' experience in the UK.
Have a full driving licence.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working as a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver inputs across a range of projects throughout their lifecycle, from early strategy development through to detailed design and assessment. You will liaise with the wider project stakeholders, including the clients engineering team, consultation leads and lawyers, and provide clients with the appropriate technical and consenting advise for their projects. You will also be required to author supporting documents for pre-application discussions, planning applications and EIA deliverables.

Our client is offering a generous salary, full benefits package, and flexible hybrid working. Please note that whilst this role is advertised here for Glasgow, it can be fulfilled from any one of a number of offices across the nation.
