Location: Cumbernauld, Scotland

Salary: Up to £25k DOE

The Role

As a successful and expanding Group of diverse and interesting companies we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our established, hardworking team.

Assisting Production in a hybrid role that will offer varied days and the opportunity to grow and develop. Responsibilities will include creating sketches and working drawings using AutoCAD 2D.

A full job description will be provided to candidates selected for interview, but here is a snapshot of the role:

* Modify and create simple production drawings.

* Assist other members of the team with product development.

* Material take offs.

* Assisting production with procurement of material.

* Creating production route cards.

* Assist in Research & Development of new products.

* Liaise with clients to assist with technical queries.

* Able to work to strict deadlines.

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

* A sound knowledge of engineering design principles.

* An understanding of of manufacturing processes and construction methods is desirable but not essential.

* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D.

* Solidworks experience desirable.

* HND or equivalent in a construction related discipline.
