Communications Manager - Business Partner, Customer Experience

Salary: £40,500 per annum

Full Time - 37 hours per week


Flexible working (working two days a week in the office)

Location: Bath

What you'll be doing

Are you looking for a role that delivers something meaningful? Are you a brilliant communicator with a great understanding of customer service? This is a brand-new role, created to work in partnership with the Customer Experience teams to deliver exceptional customer service to our 25,000 residents. Working in a vibrant, purpose-led environment, they're a business that values great communication - this is an opportunity to make a role your own and to really make a difference.

You'll be taking the lead on a broad range of projects in our busy, expanding team. Your work will include planning and delivering campaigns, supporting events and resident engagement activities, advising colleagues, copywriting, production of presentations, videos and reports, and commissioning graphic design work and photography. You'll also work with other team members to respond to media enquiries, manage their social media channels and deliver online events. You'll report to the Director of Communications.

More about you

You'll be a skilled and inspiring Communications professional who's full of energy and great ideas. You'll be a confident website and social media manager, and you'll understand how to use analytics and how to identify and reach a range of audiences using the right language and the right channels. You'll have strong writing skills and your experience of working with customer and stakeholder groups will enable you to offer business partnering to Directors and other colleagues in the customer service teams.

You'll also have strong events, budget management, presentation and project skills and be able to work to multiple deadlines.

You will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting and committed environment which is fast-paced and varied.

When and where you'll be doing it

You'll work five days a week, with at least two fixed days in the office and the option of flexible working on other days.
