Nursery Assistant - Swindon

Your new school or nursery

You will have the opportunity to work in several excellent schools and nurseries located in your chosen area of Swindon. These schools and nurseries are searching for day-to-day and long-term support throughout this academic year and from September 2022. The Schools that we work with are committed to improving the learning outcome of their pupils and are dedicated to ensuring that all standards are maintained during staff absences. As a result of this, we are recruiting for a number of Early Years Practitioners to be available for day-to-day and long-term supply work to cover these staff absences

Your new role

As an Early Years Practitioner, your job will be to participate in imaginative play with the children to promote the children's learning and development. You will be implementing a range of exciting, creative activities appropriate for children, to challenge the children to promote their development and increase their confidence as independent learners. All work will be concerned with the Early Years Foundation Stage and therefore knowledge of this is essential.

What you'll need to succeed

You should hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Qualification or equivalent as well as recent, previous experience in an Early Years classroom environment as a teaching assistant. You must be passionate about promoting children's development and making a positive contribution to the children's learning in the reception class.
