LEAN PROCESS ANALYST
Our client is a leading Aviation Cargo Specialist, they are looking to hire a Lean Process Analyst into their team.
You will be responsible for supporting the business through the transformation team delivering efficient, customer-focused, sustainable, and innovative process improvement solutions using process analysis and design that bring value to internal/ external stakeholders while ultimately supporting the strategy.
Furthermore, this role is responsible for championing and supporting Lean/ Six Sigma methods across the business through support of programmes and projects but also facilitating and running process workshops for day-to-day business, thus enabling continuous improvement.
Support Lean/ Six Sigma process work that relates to Programmes and Projects to support our ongoing strategies.
Support the company with a culture of continuous improvement that should be embedded in all areas
Plan and facilitate workshops to deliver process improvements which support the strategic direction of the business; ensure sustained delivery of new process solutions
Champion Lean/ Six Sigma principles and challenge current operational/ commercial delivery behaviours
Act as an interface to support the deployment of process excellence and new technologies within the business
Leverage industry best practice to solve business problems and support our drive for achieving cargo excellence through service quality
Ensure a clear focus on improvements that add value to operational/commercial delivery, whilst ensuring compliance to corporate project management framework and governance
Promote compliance with quality management systems to support process governance, quality assurance and improvement activities
Support training, coaching and mentoring of staff to develop business wide understanding of Lean/ Six Sigma principles and methods which will underpin cultural transformation
Has a strong understanding of Lean/ Six Sigma methodologies and their application within a highly process orientated environment
Skilled in Lean/ Six Sigma principles and techniques including value stream mapping, SIPOC, 5S workplace organisation, TPM, FMEA and problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to gain commitment and buying from a full range of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate that they have facilitated the design of new processes/methods and implemented them
Strong analytical capabilities, able to translate complex data into meaningful results
High level of self-organisation and motivation
Proven Lean process analysis experience
Proven experience in a project environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite particularly with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and word
Genuine passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement evidenced by examples
Ability to communicate at all levels from warehouse operatives to senior managers
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to constructively challenge the status quo
Able to work within a team, seek support when needed but drive direction independently
Lean/Six Sigma or quality management (either work environment or accreditation)
