My Client is well established, industry leading Engineering company. Based in Country Durham, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2022. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paint Plant Operative to join their team on a Temporary toPermanent basis.

This opportunity gives a Paint Plant Operative the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the North-East. They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly, job security.

The Paint Plant Operative will cover a 3-shift pattern 6am-2:30pm / 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday to Friday and 7pm-6am Sunday then 11pm-7am Monday to Thursday

**Please note that all Paint Plant Operative candidates will join a day shift, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm for initial training**

As a Paint Plant Operative, your main responsibilities will be to paint or powder coat various different engineered parts.

Main Duties:
  • Prepare (Masking and shot blasting) and spray components to a high standard
  • Carry out regular inventory checks on behalf of the Powder Coating Supervisor
  • Load and unload the paint line
  • Packing finished parts correctly and safely
  • To ensure all quality and environmental procedures are adhered to
  • To maintain an acceptable standard of cleanliness / housekeeping by conducting daily audits
  • Safe and controlled movement of production parts

Role Requirements:
  • 1 year minimum experience of working in a Paint Plant Environment
  • Excellent communication
  • Good Engineering Background
  • Ability to inspect own work
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
