Assistant Lighting Engineer

Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity to join a business that works within a very creative environment, is available! An Assistant Lighting Engineer /Technician is required on a permanent basis, days based paying c£25,000 + benefits.

Description

As the Assistant Lighting Engineer /Technician your duties will include, however will not be limited to:

• supporting the sales team with technical quotes for large and small projects
• creating solutions to lighting problems for clients
• drawing and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical system drawings where necessary
• sourcing product solutions
• technical enquiries from customers and colleagues
• assisting in the production area with technical queries when necessary

Profile

The successful Assistant Lighting Engineer /Technician will have:

• previously worked in similar role within a creative production environment (ideally)
• worked on technical quotes previously
• an electrical qualification or equivalent
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• a 'can-do' attitude and be prepared to roll their sleeves up and get involved with other elements of the projects where necessary

Job Offer

This is a full time permanent days role, based in Manchester paying c£25k + bonus + pension + 25 days holiday (as well as your birthday off and bank holidays - you'll never be in work!!).

Some travel may be required to visit customers however this will be fully expensed.
