The Service Delivery Manager will lead a diverse team of IT professionals to facilitate the delivery of the IT service strategy.

The job is challenging but rewarding, you'll be expected to do the following: -
  • Lead the effective operation of IT services in line with established IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the Board
  • Drive accountability throughout all levels of the department through the communication of expectations and cascading of top-level objectives that support the overall vision of the company and drive a customer-focused delivery
  • Support negotiations with suppliers of hardware and software to get the best deal, including external support, and being responsible for contracting consultants and making service agreements
  • Report performance of Service delivery against KPIs along with management actions to recover performance
  • Create and deliver IT service and IT supplier performance reports to relevant management committees
  • Oversee the effective day to day performance of key technology providers in line with contractual terms, adhering to Operational Resilience and TPRM policies and frameworks
  • Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
  • Ensuring adoption of systems, procedures, and methodologies to support outstanding service delivery

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure colleagues within your team are managed effectively in line with the Performance Management standards, including regular 121's/performance conversations
  • Drive the companies data quality culture, ensuring accurate capture and storage or data to facilitate effective production of Management Information
  • Drive the company's Environmental, Social and Governance ambition to build a sustainable, resilient, and purpose-led organisation
  • Drive their Equality and Diversity goals/strategy
  • Promote the companies security policy, educating to ensure appropriate measures are taken to secure the firm's information and minimising security incidents

This role can be the launch of your career with opportunities to move into Service Delivery and IT management. We are looking for the Service Delivery Manager to play a key role in the success of the IT function.

The job comes with a starting salary of approx. £50,000.00 per annum and the following benefits - Private Healthcare, Critical Illness Cover, Dental Insurance, 10% Employer Pension contribution and 14 hours of volunteer leave to give to your community.

Experience needed
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully planning and transitioning new IT services into live operation
  • Knowledge and experience of Cloud and Infrastructure products and services
  • Experience in dealing with third-party service providers
  • Chairing Service Review meetings with clients, and preparation/interpreting of report inputs to the session.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading both physical and virtual teams
  • Operational ability in a diverse environment
  • In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery
  • Mastery of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles
  • Managing the contractual performance of services within agreed SLA, and influencing action required to mitigate or remediate SLA breach
