My client is currently looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Tax Solicitor to join their firm in London, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich or Norwich.

The department

The firm is recruiting for a driven and forward thinking Senior Associate to come and be part of their growing Corporate Tax team. You will join a highly successful, leading Corporate Tax team which sits within the Firm's Corporate Services Division.

The team has particular expertise in:
  • Property related taxes
  • Corporate tax
  • Employment compensation and benefits

The candidate

Their Corporate Tax team has become increasingly busy in recent years and with high profile tender wins that growth is set to continue. They are now looking to expand by recruiting a senior lawyer to play a leading role in our Tax team and to complement their wider market leading Real Estate and Corporate teams.

They are seeking a specialist tax solicitor with upwards of 6 years + PQE who ideally has gained experience within a regional, national or city firm.

You will ideally have a strong background advising on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, as well as SDLT, VAT and employment taxes; experience with employee incentives would be highly beneficial.

You will have management experience to supervise a team, with the technical ability to run and manage your own full caseload of files and be active in marketing and business development in order to expand this area of work and gain new clients.

The firm is a flexible business which has embraced a hybrid working model where their colleagues enjoy a mix of home and office working. They welcome applications from people looking for flexible, agile and part time roles and we are happy to explore your preferred working patterns as part of your application.

Benefits

One of the best things about joining is their rewards package. They're appreciative of the people who work for them and their rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:
  • 30 days holiday (FTE) plus Bank Holidays
  • Long Service holiday award - 1 additional week every 10 years continuous service
  • Agile Working Policy
  • Scottish Widows Pension Scheme
  • Staff Profit Share / Salary sacrifice (Pensions, Staff Profit Share)

Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.

Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly. If you have not heard from us within 3 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
