Page Personnel are working with a fantastic, market leading manufacturing business based in St. Helens who are recruiting for a Project Accountant to join their team. My client is offering full study support, progression, exposure to a global brand and hybrid working.

My client has now been established for over twenty years and have grown substantially. They are always developing new ways to market their products and grow their business. They already have a global presence within fifteen other countries and having exciting plans to grow this to thirty 2023.


Reporting into the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities for the Project Accountant are:
  • Producing the monthly financial accounts- including P and L, balance sheets
  • Managements Accounts for a subsidiary of the business
  • Preparation and submitting of monthly financial reports
  • Looking at budgets and producing forecasts - including cashflow
  • VAT returns
  • Prepare statutory accounts and year end schedules for audit
  • Assist in weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Reconcile control accounts
  • Assist in system implementation
  • Ad hoc duties


The successful candidate for the Project Accountant is someone who:
  • Has experience in a similar role
  • Has worked for a large organisation prior or at present
  • Proficient on Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work stand alone or in a team
