IT Helpdesk Engineer / 1st Line / 2nd Line / Service Desk Analyst / IT Support / Support Technician / Technical Support / Customer Service / Managed Service Provider / MSP

Concept Resourcing are currently working with a growing Managed Service Provider to recruit an IT Helpdesk Engineer into their support team. This is an ideal opportunity who's gained 1st line support experience and been exposed to a range of key technologies, who is now looking for more 2nd line duties.

Location - near Basingstoke

Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

The Role
  • Supporting incoming customer requests and queries via phone, web, email and providing 1st and 2nd line fault support, displaying excellent levels of customer service
  • Support a range of technologies including networks, cloud, O365
  • Assisting the project team when required
  • Mentor junior members of staff
  • Supporting customers by resolving IT issues within set SLAs
  • Actively logging the call on the ticketing system, and escalating the issue where applicable
  • Display high levels of customer service and an excellent phone manner
  • Excellent training available, and opportunities to grow into more senior roles

The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Previous experience on an IT Support Desk
  • Exposure to Windows, Office 365, Networks (Cisco ideally), and Cloud
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Familiar with Managed Service Provider environments
  • CCNA certification would be beneficial
