Are you an experienced Front-End Engineer with knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks?

Do you have experience of full lifecycle software development?

Are you looking to work for a respected and well known not for profit organisation dedicated to improving healthcare services?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Cardiff for a Front-End Engineer to work for one of our clients who is a well-known and respected not for profit organization.

The role is hybrid working. So a few days in office and the remaining working from home on a weekly basis

Our client is offering an excellent salary of £43,263 per annum

In this role you would be working 35 hours per week on a permanent basis.

As the Front-End Engineer your responsibilities would include:
  • Leading on the design and development of engaging user experiences
  • Ascertaining business requirements and turning these into workable solutions.
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging of critical business and web applications
  • The development and evolution of the website
  • Integration of systems to streamline business processes
  • Assisting the development of data-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing
  • Configuration and maintenance of management systems
  • Create, review, and maintain technical documentation
  • Advise on purchase and implementation of relevant hardware and software
  • Develop and maintain guides for the website and other applications
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of new technical developments and trends
  • An escalation point for support of business systems
  • Coordinate and liaise with 3rd party suppliers and consultants as required
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable

Front-End EngineerPerson Specification:
  • Able to travel and with occasional overnight stays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable experience of developing web-based software systems in JavaScript (TypeScript) CSS and HTML
  • Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles for the web
  • Experience of producing wireframes, style guides, or prototypes to test out designs
  • Ability to manage own time to ensure project deadlines are met
