This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable law firm based in central Leeds, working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing support to one of their clients. This is a busy and varied role which is ideal if you have customer service and administration experience and be willing to learn.
Duties will include:
Manage all client work allocated in accordance with the firm's procedures and quality standards, including the running of your own files after appropriate training.
Utilise internal computer system after training.
Draft appropriate legal documentation ensuring that relevant proceedings are issued within set time scales.
Schedule deeds
Set up and end rebates
Preparation and set up of Loan Agreements
Preparation of DS1s
Preparation of files for Audits
Dealing with Redemptions - including other side's solicitors
Preparation of Retained Rights Agreements
Preparation of Reports on title
Dealing with Fast Track Security and reviewing existing Security
Ensure that regular reviews of live matter reports, outstanding bills and client balances are carried out and any issues reported to your Supervisor.
Type own email, letters and documents ensuring these are produced in accordance with the firm's house style and using the case-flow.
Ensure that all client files are kept neat and tidy. Maintain daily electronic diary
Deal with clients' queries over the telephone.
Develop a good relationship with the client.
Open and close client files ensuring the correct documentation has been completed in accordance with the firm's procedures.
