Early Years and Nursery Assistant Your new School
Located in the heart of Wolverhampton, this nursery has ample parking available and multiple public transport options within a few minutes walk.The Nursery caters for two sessions a day with working hours of 8:30am to 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break.Your new role
Your role will require commitment throughout the agreement to aid the progression of pupils in your assigned class in accordance with the current Early Years curriculum. As an early years professional, your responsibilities will include:
What you'll need to succeed
- Planning and preparing work for the group
- you will be assigned to the same am and pm groups every day to ensure consistency.
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team and room leaders to promote consistent development
- Working closely with the assigned Teaching assistant to ensure 1:1/ group support is assigned as relevant
- Taking all reasonable steps to maintain good order and discipline among pupils and safeguarding their health and safety both when they are authorised to be on school premises and when they are engaged in authorised school activities elsewhere.
For this role you will need to complete our compliance process; a positive and prompt approach to this is essential to ensure processed in time for the proposed start date. You will need:Access to right to work document, identification, proof of addressEnhanced child DBS, preferably on the Update ServiceReferences covering the last 2 years minimumAccess to certificates and QTS reference numberThe school have stated that for a teacher to thrive in this role they will need a good patient and nurturing approach. Be proactive and have re-engagement techniques. A positive and creative approach to teaching is vital for this role along with creative approaches to phonics and numeracy.You will be working alongside a very experienced teaching team.
