Gobel & Partner Ltd are a leading supplier of Total Quality Management Services to the Automotive and Aerospace industries.
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to work on a specialist project based on-site at an Aerospace manufacturer in Derby.
To start immediately. This project is short term, estimated 6 months. But could be extended or successful candidates could be utilised on other projects as they become available.
The Quality Technician will be responsible for:
* Assisting with Quality issues and containing stock
* Raising the quality issue with the manufacturing team
* Assisting the engineers with a containment plan and help putting this into place
* Reading & Interpreting CAD Drawings.
The successful candidate will require a good understanding of problem solving / root cause analysis / 8D type approach. You must be able to interpret engineering drawings, use basic measuring equipment and apply standards processes effectively.
This role is carried out across a day shift, Monday - Friday.
Aerospace experience is preferred but not essential.
£16.00 - £20.00 per hour PAYE Dependant on experience
