The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Finance Business Analyst, primarily you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of performance analysis functions and will support both Commercial and Operation Teams in analysing and interpreting sales, margins, costs and profit data for the manufacturing BU. Reporting to the Global Finance Director.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful individual would be but no limited to:

* Responsible for Executive Information System (EIS) Master Data

* Responsible for overseeing the annual sales and cost budget process

* Interface between Commercial and Finance Management

* Financial Planning Analysis and support for Commercial Managers

* Analysis of sales and margin performance, both periodically and as required

* Creating and validation periodic P&L performance

* Support in periodic reporting covering all aspects of the BU's activity

* To fully understand currency impacts on performance and effectively communicate findings

* Stock valuation (material and overheads) analysis and reporting

* Pricing analysis / tracking, to support Commercial Teams and report to Management

* Sales forecasting development, collation and management

* Support the creation and adherence to the BU's 5-year Strategic Plan

* Recommend and implement key improvements to BU reporting

* Reporting on Operational analytics - OTIF, Variances, Output, Costs, etc

* Support other senior stakeholders across the BU and other BU's within thew wider IFF business

* To liaise both in person and electronically, with both internal and external stakeholders, in a professional manner at all times

* To fulfill other tasks deemed appropriate by the company.

* Ensure all areas of responsibility meet expected housekeeping standards and comply with the Safety & Quality Management Systems

The Candidate:

The successful Finance Business Analyst will be/have:

* Finance Graduate / CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential depending upon financial experience

* Experienced with BI / Pivot Tables and different IT systems for planning, service, etc.

* Proven experience of driving business improvements

* Strong IT skills; Expert level of MS Excel; knowledge/understanding of SAP, ORACLE, or similar would be advantageous

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Clear written and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate with external stakeholders on any financial matters as well as the ability to communicate issues or respond to queries with internal budget holders and senior management

* Clear understanding of confidentiality
