Oversight and review of the month end financial processes for payroll reporting, ensuring accountings entries are correctly recorded and monthly balance sheet reconciliations completed as per Group timetable.
We are seeking an experienced payroll manager who has the drive and determination to deliver the highest level of service. We are seeking an individual who has a can do and will do attitude who can lead from the front and challenge the expected norms to deliver an efficient payroll service. Applicants will need to have a comprehensive understanding of UK payroll legislation and who ideally has some exposure to non UK payroll - Ideally Irish/European (or both preferably). This role has its challenges and is not for the faint hearted. The systems currently are adequate but are in need of an extensive overhaul. The payroll is also made more complex by adding in various payroll amendments like bonus, shift allowance, overtime and many other unique anomalies. The role holder can expect to be kept incredibly busy and challenged, but our client will reward in abundance!
