My client is globally recognised, award winning specialist Insurer within the London market. The brand is well established and operates across multiple lines of specialty insurance. The business are currently looking to grow their change assurance capability with 2 key hires within the internal control team.
The Change Assurance Specialists will be accountable for:
  • Engaging business sponsors to identify and monitor change initiatives across the business.
  • Engaging project teams to ensure appropriate updates to SOX and FCF documentation is updated prior to implementation, reporting (where necessary) control gaps and deficiencies identified.
  • Ensure project teams meet minimum standards in relation to coordinating change activity with due consideration of financial controls.
  • Support activities to ensure key milestones and regulatory requirements are adhered to. This will involve supporting the team's delivery of key reports, in particular to satisfy SOX requirements.

Experience required:
  • Good commercial awareness of all aspects of a general insurer, covering front and back-office activities and evident familiarity with the Lloyd's market.
  • Sound understanding of the technical elements of change management and its associated risks.
  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing end-to-end data flows, in particular critiquing systems, processes and controls.
  • SOX compliance, audit and risk management knowledge and understanding commensurate with the role is desirable.
  • Analytical, investigative approach with ability to work systematically and unsupervised, to tight deadlines and with multiple competing priorities.
  • Pragmatic problem-solver with commercial awareness and a flexible, collaborative approach.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to assimilate, manage and communicate salient details relating to large volumes of information, including technical issues and data.
