Who We Are
Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS) Advisory provides banks and brokers with objective strategic advisory services to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their surveillance functions. Providing analysis to ensure market abuse risks are monitored in the most efficient way possible.

We provide a range of services to our customers such as:
  • Analysing the customers' business to understand the market abuse they are exposed to
  • Technical analysis to ascertain why data quality issues are preventing alerts from triggering
  • Assisting Compliance teams with regulatory inquiries.
What We Expect
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a surveillance function in a bank/s, either in Technology as a BA, or as a senior surveillance analyst.
  • Deep knowledge of market abuse risks and how they manifest in trading. Good technical understanding of surveillance alert functionality.
  • Excellent presentation abilities. Ability to translate technical issues into business language and vice versa.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently at multiple levels from board to surveillance analyst.
Role and Responsibilities
As head of Advisory Services, you own a relatively new, but already successful advisory function. Leveraging your surveillance subject matter expertise, you will own an internal business that provides surveillance advisory services to sell-side firms globally. Assisting compliance professionals with how best to configure their surveillance alerts so that they can supervise market abuse risk as optimally and efficiently as possible. As part of the sales team, you will also be responsible for developing the business, growing revenue, and hitting sales targets. You'll lead a small team of data and business analysts and play a pivotal role in developing their skills and knowledge.

Drive sales for the Advisory function. Provide Surveillance Subject Matter Expertise to a global client base of banks and brokers. Provide training and mentoring to junior team members. Identify new business opportunities for advisory business. Provide pre-sales advice to the sales team. Lead analysis of customer surveillance function. Negotiate fees and contracts with Customers.
