The Opportunity

"Come join our product development team in a hands-on technical role where you'll be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of software development and methodologies. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, and work closely with professional services and product management to develop a highly feature rich product." - VP, Software Engineering.

What You'll Contribute

As a Scrum Master working with one or more scrum teams you will be responsible for ensuring the scrum teams follow scrum framework and SAFe practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve process and facilitate the scrum events, eliminating team impediments and identifying risk.

As a Scrum Master your responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduling and facilitating scrum events such as:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Standups
    • Sprint Review, Retrospective and Demos
    • Backlog refinement.
  • Ensure scrum team follows Agile process.
  • Monitoring progress and team deliverables according to the Program Increment (PI) Plan.
  • Manage inter team dependencies.
  • Managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Ensure continuous improvement, quality, predictability, and velocity of the scrum team.
  • Work with PM and development leads to ensure value is delivered.
  • Providing weekly status reports communicating risk with transparency.
  • Facilitate the team in the Program Increment (PI) Planning events.

What We're Seeking
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum master. SAFe Certification.
  • Extensive Scrum Master experience in a software development environment.
  • Understanding of Agile and SAFe practices.
  • Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle and Deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
