What you'll be doing:

You will support the Head of Enterprise Risk Management in ensuring the Enterprise Risk Management Framework remains aligned to the corporate strategy and is consistently implemented across NHBC. This includes embedding our emerging risk framework, supporting the on-going development of the stress and scenario testing framework, and continually improving our risk MI through data analytics. In addition, you will play a lead role in the ORSA process and reporting. The Enterprise Risk Management team falls within the remit of the Chief Risk Officer and works closely with all areas of the risk function and wider business. NHBC is a regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA).

What we are looking for:

We want to find someone with a strong knowledge of enterprise risk management processes and procedures within the financial services. You will have an understanding of best practice in Enterprise Risk Management in addition to knowledge of relevant legislation, insurance market environment and awareness of emerging market developments. You will have strong problem-solving skills, and confidence in explaining and gaining buy in from senior managers. You will be able to distil information and apply judgement considering a wide ranging of input.

Regulatory accountabilities:

Over the course of employment, the role holder is required to abide by and uphold the high-level standards of behaviour set out by the FCA/PRA Conduct Rules, and to take 'reasonable steps' to prevent a breach of those rules occurring.

Education and Qualifications:

Degree in a relevant qualification / wider risk management qualification
