This role will be supporting the SOX Control oversight for the Chief Security Office Regulatory, Audit, Risk and Controls team. CSO is a technology and information security department within the organization with 1800+ staff. You will join an international, multi-cultural team and experience working in unique enterprise grade IT Security environments. The CSO (Chief Security Office) Audit and Controls Team endeavours to ensure a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the management of audit & controls within CSO function. We partner with stakeholders and groups both internal and external to CSO including Internal Audit, the SOX team, COO Office, Regulatory Affairs and CISO to ensure that we comply with our stakeholders' expectations.
In this function you will:
  • Leverage the CTOO global operating SOX governance and management framework to ensure timely response and management of the SoX controls within CSO, including oversight and management of remediation plans for control matters.
  • Act as CSO subject matter expert on the SOX framework and testing requirements.
  • Establish automated dashboards to monitor and report on the organisation's compliance to the SOX framework.
  • Coordinate changes within CSO as stipulated by central SOX framework processes to meet the requirements of the organisation's SOX Framework.
  • Prepare and launch SOX Beginning of Year Design Effectiveness Testing (BoY DET) and End Of Year (EoY) communications to Control and Application Owners. Document/update Quality Guidance documents for BoY, Operational Effectiveness Testing (OET) and EoY based on feedback from Quality Assurance team and OET results. Document and/or review SOX General Computer Controls (GCCs) and templated General Application Computer Controls (GACCs) descriptions.
  • Provide advice and guidance and respond to queries from capability and service owners, CTOO SOX QA and peer Advisory team members. Collaborate closely with the SOX team to facilitate the timely and transparent delivery of requirements by CSO teams.
  • Provide input into control design as controls change and new systems are implemented.
  • Act as expert user for MARCS control and application forms through SOX cycle workflow, and provide necessary support or training to new users in CSO.

This role encompasses all aspect of IT Security from identity and access management to encryption and cyber security incident response. You will have the opportunity to learn across multiple divisions, advising in areas of risk and compliance.
  • Relevant experience in a similar risk & controls, regulatory, audit or compliance role ideally associated with information technology and security. Good IT risk and controls awareness, SOX controls an advantage
  • A proven track record of leading, building and driving a risk aware culture or managing compliance frameworks
  • Comfortable documenting controls and guidance to stakeholders/ business partners (Control Owners, Application owners, technical and non-technical staff) outside of the risk disciplines
  • Pragmatic (able to consider both regulatory requirements and the needs of the business)
  • Able to work independently and proactively with appropriate consultation
  • Diplomatic and experienced at coordinating tasks - structuring and allocating work, tracking progress, assessing performance, and resolving issues
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skill-set, confidence, and the ability to work with senior management teams and under pressure.
  • Professional Qualifications / Certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP a plus
