M&E Cad Operator

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- To provide a technical service to line manager, lead consultants, design engineers and job runners within the quality and operational processes encompassing computer aided design (CAD).
- To provide drawings and technical information related to the project and requirements of the clients
- Operate CAD equipment and associated computers
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- Prepare and amend drawings on CAD to meet the requirements of projects within time, specification, quality and objectives
- Maintain and update the Practices CAD capability
- Undertakes site surveys
JOB CONTEXT
- The job holder will provide technical support and services as directed
- The job holder will undertake the responsibility of provision of computerised information utilising CAD
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant qualifications in AutoCAD Design (CGLI 4351-01 Cad)
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of drawing office standards and procedures
- Knowledge of time management
- Ability to use CAD and other computer aids
